Broadway and Beyond

The Regent Theatre and Festival Players present Broadway and Beyond, an online event featuring Chilina Kennedy, one of Canada’s leading musical theatre performers. Among many starring roles on both sides of the border, Ms. Kennedy appeared as singer-songwriter Carole King in Beautiful for three years on Broadway.

This intimate 70 minute live concert will be streamed live from 2gallery on March 20 at 8:00 p.m., featuring songs from classic and contemporary musicals from Broadway and the West End, as well as songs by Joni Mitchell and a few of Kennedy’s own compositions. Kennedy will be accompanied by Stratford Festival’s Musical Director, Franklin Brasz, on piano.

This will be a unique opportunity for viewers to experience Kennedy’s sensational voice and heartfelt interpretations right here in the County.
