Station Road Arts‘ Roamin’ Theatre Roulant is on a roll again! Canada’s only horse-drawn theatre caravan is touring Prince Edward County performing Back of Hoards Station, a story many tried to forget. With five unique venues and a spectacular line-up of local musicians and food, there is something for everyone!
Elizabeth’s first trip to a year-round rural livestock auction was an attempt to rescue a newfound animal friend. The auction being cancelled that day provided a brief reprieve. She never expected that a vacant auction hall would transform into a spiralling rabbit hole, holding her captive while taking her into the depth of generational family trauma. Based on a true story.
An original stage play written by Conrad Beaubien, directed by John Burns, and featuring Sarah Kirby and David Burns. With an original score by Tom Dietzel and Paco Luviano and Joel Bootsma on violin. Stage and production management by Tammy Love and Mike Kirby.
