The 32nd Annual Art in the County juried exhibition and sale features 111 works of art by 86 Prince Edward County artists. In addition, all of County Arts’ Indigenous Voices Fund grant recipients were invited to display their work in this year’s show. Alyssa Bardy, Shyanne Brant, and Angela Wiggins have their work currently featured in the exhibition and sale. Click here to learn more about this program.
This year’s show features high quality works of art in a wide range of media, including watercolour, acrylic, oil, and encaustic paintings, sculpture, textiles, wood, photography, ceramics, glass, and more.

Oeno Gallery Award of Excellence: claudia jean mccabe for In Sterling’s Mist (acrylic, mixed media & collage on canvas)
Jurors’ Choice Award: Susan Straiton for “Red” Maple (oil on paper)
Honourable Mentions: Pamela Carter for A County Golden Hour (oil on canvas); Sophie Barber for Neither you or I are in control (acrylic); and Janet Comeau for Serenity (cotton floss embroidery on Aida fabric)
Carson Arthur Award: Susan Wallis for Setting the Moon on Fire (encaustic on wood panel)
Don Watson & Andrew Innes Award: Linda Barber for Where the Wild Things Linger (acrylic on canvas)
Akasha Art Projects Award: Bill Stearman for Reflecting On AIDS After Living Through Covid (quilted cotton, reverse appliqué letters)
Community Arts Builder Award: Alex Currie and Erynn Ahern, Radiator Collective.
