Al Purdy Art Challenge

The Al Purdy A-Frame Association is seeking entries to their poetry-themed art contest being hosted at the Ameliasburgh Fall Fair.

The contest challenges artists to create a piece of art (any medium, max 11″ x 14″, mounted) responding to an excerpt from Al Purdy’s Poem “Wilderness Gothic”.

First prize is $150 and a book of Al’s poetry, with two runner up prizes of $50. The contest will be judged by a local author selected by the Al Purdy Association.
