African Arts Institute presents an evening of music, dance, poetry, and visual arts with an exciting lineup of artists!
Experience Ghanaian song and dance, highlife, and an exhibition of the work of the Bridging Communities Crochet Project led by Emebet Belete.
The drummers of ZahraMoves will give you a musical interlude which will bring you to the West Coast of the continent, followed by an energetic dance segment by the ZahraMoves Performance Team. Kofi Ackah and the Butterfly Band perform Ghanaian highlife music which will have you dancing in your seats! The evening is rounded off with poetry by acclaimed storyteller and podcast host Nana Yaa Yeboaa.
