Sam Miller is a local artist with firm roots planted in Prince Edward County after spending a wonderful childhood there.
She has lived in the Kingston area most of her life working and fostering her creative passions along the way. Recently retired, she has found time to indulge her love of art and deepened her commitment to creating art as often as possible.
Sam works in both acrylic and watercolours. She has spent the last few years working in both mediums while also providing watercolour teaching instruction.
Sam is a self-taught semi-impressionist painter whose work blends loose, expressive brushstrokes with vivid detail. Her pieces often reflect a deep connection to the outdoors, with skies full of light and colour. Anyone who sees her knows that she spends a lot of time staring at the incredible world around us and marveling at the sky.
