
Sally McCubbin is a solutions-driven artist and designer. The tenets of her work include; questions, evocative beauty and joy. Her art career, over 20 years, is faceted in variety.
Sally’s foundational studies in Craft & Design established her relationship with the value of quality. Since 2005, her artwork spans fields from industrial design to public art. This work is in private and public collections in Canada, the US and Europe. She has received grants and awards for merit and research. This funding has provided study in the US, Scandinavia, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand. A once devout glassblower, Sally has worked at the Tacoma Museum of Glass, Pilchuck Glass School (USA), Glazen Huis (Belgium) and Sheridan College.
Today, Sally balances her artistic practice with roles as a freelance web designer and digital strategist. She lives and creates in Prince Edward County alongside her husband, illustrator Clayton Hanmer and their daughter.
