I was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and received a BFA (Art and Design) from the University of Alberta. I also received training through summer workshops at the Emma Lake campus of the University of Saskatchewan. Moving to Toronto upon graduation, some of my early works were represented by Gallery Quan in Toronto.
Through the years I have explored drawing, sculpture, and painting, and am most recently involved in painting landscapes. Using photographs, pictures, ideas and memories, the products are essentially imaginary landscapes. The more successful of these pieces incorporate an emotional charge which acts as a connection to a viewer’s unconsciousness.
