My artwork is a variety of passions and styles. I love both colour and simplicity, heavy textured acrylics, or soft watercolours. My work is often nature-based and either a form of realism or I’ll switch it up and do a bright abstract. Either way, I love to evoke calmness and peaceful settings in my paintings, which are almost always based off a photograph that I took while exploring our beautiful province.
I find inspiration from the beauty of Prince Edward County and places along Lake Ontario, Quinte West, or the many hiking trails and lookouts in the area, along with camping adventures in various provincial parks.
As a recent Therapeutic Arts Practitioner graduate from the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy, I strive to bring the calmness and stress-relief benefits of being creative into the community as well through my coaching business Grace Creative Therapeutic Arts.
