Kat Burns

Hello! I’m Kat Burns – a multi-disciplinary artist, musician, and songwriter based in Prince Edward County. A graduate of OCAD’s printmaking and integrated media programs, I strive to make art fun and accessible in a community context. I’ve worked with all ages using music, storytelling and art jams to creatively connect people to one another. Lately in my studio I’ve been combining watercolour, ink and collage to create small scale pieces, borrowing ideas from my previous An Hour of My Time project (in which I created one painting an hour for a workweek). I love drawing and printing my music merch designs as well, that’s allowed me to showcase art with the music, (KASHKA), across Canada, the USA and Europe.
