About Judith Librach

As an emerging artist, my practice is deeply rooted in material exploration and curiosity for the natural world. I investigate ways of knowing through materially embodied narratives in natural ecologies, using them as frameworks to understand how our environment can shape our identities and experiences. I often forage urban and natural environments for materials and inspiration, collecting plants, minerals, fungi and found objects to create art.

I am an artist, educator, and community organizer, living in Picton and Toronto. I am graduating this year with a BFA in Drawing and Painting from OCAD University. Additionally, I hold an MEd in Community and Transformative Learning and a BEd from OISE.
