About Joanne Fralick

Career journalist and writer, Joanne has authored/co-authored multiple publications including Camp Picton: A Storied 70 Years – the history of the County’s British Commonwealth Air Training Plan facility located on County Road 22, followed by a young readers chapter book Camp Picton Boys. She released a 382 page genealogy book on her Cournoyer family in June 2022.

Joanne brings her experience and enthusiasm for local history, genealogy and memoir to the public in several methods including writing classes, independent projects and private consultations.
