I sweat the small stuff. Pixel perfection, rhythmic flow and a devotion to symbolism that rewards all who choose to look a little closer – these are the things that drive me to create.
G L Barrett is a British-Canadian artist and writer based in Prince Edward County, Ontario. They work in pixels and points, using typographical shapes and stark colour choices to explore non-traditional forms of storytelling. When creating with photographs, they explore the fine lines that vein through nature and dive into the shadows to bring forth the hidden diversity that so often goes unnoticed.
