Chris Caswell

Chris likes to paint abstracted landscapes. He finds an empty canvas enormously exciting. 

Diving in, Chris has a firm idea of what will result. He is often bewildered to find the painting has other ideas. Gamely he pursues. Hours pass like minutes. Sometimes a wall-worthy beauty emerges. Sometimes it’s a drive off a cliff. Oh well, a quick splash of gesso and the fun starts all over.
