Candice Woodard

Candice Woodard is a pastel artist living in Milford, Ontario. She is a member of the Pastel Artists of Canada Association, Red Rock Pastel Society and Prince Edward County Arts Council. She was introduced to pastels 10 years ago and it was “love at first touch”. Pastel as a medium, is vibrant, expressive, exuberant and tactile.

Candice finds inspiration in the quiet countryside. She strives to capture the beauty of these light-filled landscapes in a painterly style. Nature provides endless possibilities of textures and colours. Accomplishments include:

• Accepted into 2018 and 2019 juried Pastel Artists of Canada competition;
• Awarded second place in Artist of the Year competition at the 2018 Picton Fair;
• Accepted into 2019 and 2020 Art in the County juried show and sold all submissions;
• Accepted by PEC Arts Council to participate in the 2020 PEC Studio Tour.
