OUR MISSON

At Black River Ridge, we strive to provide an exceptional education in the arts – Art Classes PEC, with a focus on fostering creativity and individual expression. An incredible property based in beautiful Prince Edward County. Tremendous views of nature and Lake Ontario near Milford.

OUR ART/FOLK SCHOOL

Our experienced and accomplished faculty members are dedicated to helping students develop their skills and achieve their artistic goals. Rosanne Middleton Hanley can help you. She will guide and coach you on your art/creative journey. All ages and skills welcome. All materials included. Exceptional teaching space. Wash up stations for art classes, washrooms and indoor and outdoor meeting/meal/dining areas are available.

OUR ART PLAY AND STAY PACKAGES

We offer a wide range of art excursion packages – to suit the needs of visitors/students at all levels, from introductory classes to advanced workshops. Along with down time and guest accomodation options.

About Rosanne Middleton Hanley

Rosanne is the Artist, art teacher and Retreat Owner/Facilitator of beautiful Black River Ridge, Prince Edward County. A life-long graphic designer/artist, Rosanne owned and operated a design, advertising agency in Toronto until her retirement in 2013. When Rosanne isn’t painting, teaching art classes or in her field of lavender and baby’s breath, she can be found exploring the field and forest trails on her 120 acre farm in Black River near Milford. Rosanne teaches art in Uxbridge/Claremont during the winter months. She is a graduate of Graphic Design and retired owner of a Toronto advertising agency for 39 years.
