Angela Wiggins is a proud Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) artist and bloodline descendant of Residential School Survivor Henry Rufus Trudeau and Victoria Peltier of Wikwemkong First Nation. Deeply inspired by her mother, Mary L. Trudeau, Angela channels the resilience of her heritage into her art, celebrating cultural identity while advocating for truth and reconciliation.
Through bold colour, traditional themes, and spiritual symbolism, her work honors Anishinaabe culture and the voices of those who came before her. Each piece preserves ancestral legacies while inviting reflection, dialogue, and healing. With every brushstroke, Angela ensures the spirit of her people remains vibrant, unbroken, and full of hope.
