The Regent Theatre hosts its Truth & ReconciliACTION Screening Series presented by TVO and Hatch Gallery, September 25th-30th. The series showcases four Canadian Indigenous-led documentary films over five days with proceeds from each screening benefiting different Indigenous charities. Among these charities is The Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack Fund, Tom Wilson Indigenous Bursary at McMaster University in honour of Bunny Wilson, Douglas Cardinal Foundation for Indigenous Waldorf Education and Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na: Mohawk Language & Learning Centre.

Series passes are on sale on the Regent Theatre’s website or at the box office. A pass includes one ticket for each event and costs $50 (including fees and taxes). Tickets can also be purchased for screenings individually. Tickets may be available at the door prior to each screening.

Each screening will feature post-show Q&As with the filmmakers and special guests including Kevin Hearn of The Barenaked Ladies, Juno Award-winning musician Tom Wilson, renowned architect Douglas Cardinal, and more!

We are delighted to be partnering with two new-to-us community partners Hatch Gallery and TVO to offer this unique experience in Prince Edward County,” said Alexandra Seay, executive director, The Regent Theatre.
