On Saturday January 11th, 2025 at 3 PM, the Parrott Gallery presents closing arguments and a live performance with artist Chase Cha.
Chase Cha (Lao-Cha) voices a contemporary message of inquiry into being and potential. Cha exemplifies his self-termed “Adlib Aesthetics” via a performative forbidding of direct visual references while wielding a spray can. This event takes place on the final day of Chase Cha’s solo exhibition, This Midlife Crisis, and provides the opportunity to hear the artist speak and perform while viewing the show one last time. All are welcome to join in Gallery 1 for this special event.
This Midlife Crisis is a provocative collection of introspective mixed media paintings by Chase, realizing his coming of age might be all too late.
