The Maker’s Hand 2022

Presented by the Prince Edward County Arts Council, The Maker’s Hand is one of Eastern Ontario’s most well regarded fine craft shows featuring 40 artists from across Ontario and Western Quebec. The event was unfortunately cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic. Following a recent survey of past participants, in which respondents were overwhelmingly in favour of returning to an in-person edition in 2022, we have decided to move forward with accepting applications for this year’s show.

The 2022 edition will take place from November 11-13 in Highline Hall at Wellington’s Lehigh Arena with Covid-19 public health protocols in place. We welcome applications from Canadian fine craft artists whose work exhibits originality and technical excellence. All work exhibited must be created by the artist & produced in Canada. County Arts members in good standing for 2022-23 receive a 10% discount on booth fees. The application deadline is April 15, 2022. For more information and to apply, visit The Maker’s Hand website.
