Applications are now being accepted for the 20th anniversary edition of The Maker’s Hand! Presented annually by the Prince Edward County Arts Council, The Maker’s Hand is a prestigious fine craft show featuring a wide range of established and up-and-coming artisans from across Eastern Ontario.
“Thank you for your thoughtful, careful curation, and positivity before and during the show.” – Micheline Roi, atelier J, Toronto
“The show was extremely well organized, well promoted, and a pleasure from start to finish. Thanks for an exceptional weekend.” – Danielle + James, Modernist Wood, Ottawa
The show will be returning to Highline Hall at Lehigh Arena in Wellington November 8th-10th, 2024. Applicants must be a fine artisan or craftsperson whose work demonstrates originality and technical excellence.
In honour of this important 20th anniversary milestone, we’ll be having some celebratory activities, including a special VIP shopping experience during the last hour on Friday and Saturday. Stay tuned for more! The Maker’s Hand will feature 40-50 booths in Highline Hall, as well as a number of booths in the adjacent Rotary Room. The 5′ x 5′ booth category was introduced last year in the Rotary Room as a way to assist emerging artists in reaching new audiences, and will be continued this year as well.
Details on how to apply are available online with an entry deadline of April 15th, 2024. Please direct questions about the show or the application process to makershand@countyarts.ca.
