Stacey Sproule
Stacey Sproule leading an altar making workshop at Nurture Spring retreat in 2019.

Stacey Sproule is a multi-hyphenate artist, tarot reader, writer and teacher. Her work is focused on seasons and cycles, as well as the exploration of mystical tools and their role in art making. With a BFA from OCAD in Drawing and Painting, Stacey’s practice can range from drawing, painting and textile work to installation, performance, and pedagogy. She considers herself to be a blend of technical knowledge and creative/intuitive knowledge, with a deep commitment to autodidacticism.

Since 2007, Stacey has exhibited across Ontario, including Forest City Gallery in London, 7a*11d International Performance Art Festival in Toronto, and the Art Gallery of Mississauga.

Stacey will lead a Mini Oracle Deck workshop on Sunday March 20 from 1-4PM.  Participants will be introduced to the worlds of cartomancy and, using mixed media and collage techniques, will explore intuitive ways of selecting, composing, and dialoguing with images. Through the process, participants will gain a deeper sense of their intuition, a more embodied art practice, and tools to use when the creative process feels stagnant or they are in need of insight or inspiration. All levels of artistic expertise/experience are welcome.

This workshop will be held at the County Arts Lab, Unit 1G, at the Picton Armoury Building. A sliding scale fee system is in place to ensure classes are as accessible as possible. For more information and to register, please click here.
