RISE: Because We Are Equal

To honour International Women’s Day (IWD), the Quinte Arts Council is posting a call for submissions to the RISE: Because We Are Equal 2023 show to celebrate the voices and aesthetics of women artists. 

This show is open to all who identify as women, working in painting, photography, mixed media, illustration, textiles, sculpture, and more. 

March 8th is a global day honouring and celebrating the social, economic and cultural and political achievements of women all over the world. The IWD campaign theme for 2023 is Embrace Equity.

Drop-off is Monday February 20, 2023 from 10 AM-3 PM at the Quinte Arts Council, 36 Bridge St. E., Belleville. Art must be ready to hang.
