The Maker’s Hand: 20th Anniversary
Edition
Show & SaleThe Maker’s Hand celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024! From November 8...
Join the Quinte Arts Council in celebration of Bay of Quinte Pride, Quinte Arts Council and local artist Luisé Cisneros present a powerful and heartfelt exhibition that honours our 2SLGBTQ+ community members who have passed away.
The community is invited to participate by bringing photographs of loved ones to be included in a traditional ofrenda — a Mexican altar celebrating the lives of those who are no longer with us. This installation is more than an art exhibit; it’s a collective memory and celebration of lives, a poignant reminder of the ongoing struggle for 2SLGBTQ+ rights, and a space to pay our respects.
Show Dates: June 1st – July 12th, 2024
Opening Reception: June 6th, 4-6 PM
