Late Fall @ The County Arts Lab

County Arts Lab is back for Late Fall — and registration is now open!

This session is full of inspiring ways to get creative. Whether you’re looking to explore a new art form or get your kids involved in something fun and creative, there’s something for everyone this season!

Dive into the world of Documentary Filmmaking with Kamee Abrahamian on Tuesday evenings. You’ll learn the full process of creating a short doc, from story idea to final cut. Learn how to use your DSLR or mirrorless camera with confidence in Foundations of Digital Photography: Mastering Your Camera with Tom Feiler on Tuesday afternoons. And transform fabric into art with the alchemy of natural dyes on Thursday mornings with Megan Fitzgerald in Painting with Natural Dyes. 

For kids, Julie Seddon returns with Kids’ Creation Club: Colour Quest for Kids! Kids will dive into colour, taking inspiration from artists like Henri Matisse and David Blackwood to create individual and collaborative works of art! The course ends with an art show to share their creations with family and friends!

And don’t miss our incredible lineup of workshops, including Easy Embroidery for the Absolute Beginner and Take it up a Stitch – Intermediate Embroidery with Christine Renaud, as well as Advanced Drawing and Procreate workshops with Irene Götz!

Plus, Silent Writing Circles return in October!

Our FREE Silent Writing Circle sessions are back, with four sessions taking place on Friday mornings from 10:30 AM-12 PM this October-December! Led by our friendly volunteer facilitator Dominic, our Silent Writing Circle sessions give you the time, space, accountability, and structure you need to bring your projects to life.

For writers of all levels aged 18+, sessions take place at the County Arts Lab on October 3rd, 31st, November 14th and December 12th, 2025.
