Homesick: PEC Youth for Change

Greater Than County Youth Collective invites you to a special community event celebrating the voices and creativity of youth in Prince Edward County!

Experience an evening featuring an original song and powerful short films produced in collaboration with Darkspark and local youth from Greater Than County Youth Collective during a recent creative residency. Darkspark is a not-for-profit founded by two musicians, known internationally for using music and film to help young people confront urgent social issues.

We envision an inclusive society that respects and celebrates diversity, in which engaged youth understand the power of their voices and use them for social change.

In this project, PEC youth explore housing insecurity, food access, and social isolation—sharing their lived experiences and bold visions for change.

Taking place on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 at 5:30 PM at the County Arts Lab (Unit 2E of the Picton Armoury, 206 Main Street, Picton).

Come out to support our youth, connect with the community, and be inspired by stories that matter.

The Greater Than County Youth Collective is made up of people who care for, work for, or are youth, working toward raising high school graduation rates in PEC. Working together we are Greater Than the sum of our parts.
