Home & Belonging: An Exhibit for Trans Day of Visibility

Home & Belonging: An Exhibit for Trans Day of Visibility
Home & Belonging: An Exhibit for Trans Day of Visibility celebrates the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Prince Edward County.

In a time of increasing hostility towards 2SLGBTQIA+ people, visibility is essential in increasing the safety of our community and creating a space to gather in support. In recognition of Trans Day of Visibility (TDOV), organizers Vi Woo and Hannah Fung, in collaboration with The Radiator Collective, present Home & Belonging: An Exhibit for Trans Day of Visibility, celebrating the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Prince Edward County.

The theme of this year’s show is “Rest & Resistance.” Resistance is an integral part of the liberatory work, but this work cannot be done if there is no rest. What does rest look like to you? What does resistance look like to you? The exhibition showcases submitted work by trans, gender non-conforming, and/or two-spirit members of the community responding to this theme and these questions.

The show will be on exhibition March 29th – April 26th, 2026, at Proudest Pony Salon & Gallery. All are welcome to the opening reception on March 29th at 6 PM.

In addition, the show organizers are also hosting Queer Prom at 100 Acre Wood on April 24th, 2026 from 5-10 PM in collaboration with the gallery. For more information and updates, follow Vi Woo, Hannah Fung and The Radiator Collective on Instagram.
