Home & Away

Kevin Scanlon is displaying his photography and woodworking in Arts On Main Gallery‘s Backroom Gallery. In “Home and Away,” Kevin’s work reflects his experiences in his home in Wellington, and his “home away from home,” Paris.

Kevin retreated into his workshop to create wooden silhouette characters based on photographs he had taken of people walking by his favourite cafe in Paris. Thus, he began a process where image meets form – inspired by sojourns from Wellington to Paris.

On exhibition now until September 8th, 2025.
