From Ghana With Love

Textile Art Ghana presents From Ghana With Love, an exhibition and fundraising show and sale at the Baxter Arts Centre in Bloomfield on December 9 from 3-8 PM.

Over 80 pieces of vibrant textile art and cushion covers made out of Ghanaian textiles by the Textile Art Ghana team of women will be available to purchase. These colourful artworks depict each woman’s joyful spirit using their distinctive color sense and personal style. The artworks range in size from small to medium – ideal for gift giving, or enhancing your own space!

The funds raised go back to the women, and into a building fund to establish their own dedicated workshop space, which will allow the program to become self-sustaining.

Public health protocols will be observed during the show and sale, including mask-wearing and social distancing.
