Explore abstract artmaking and jump-start your creativity with Renee Hiltz! In this course, Renee will use a series of engaging prompts, games, and other activities to help participants explore their creativity and create unique abstract artworks in a low-pressure learning environment. Freed of all objective expectations, participants will explore elements of colour, line, and design; experiment with a variety of different art materials including paint, pencil crayons, pastels, and collage materials; and discover new ways to express feelings, thoughts, and ideas through the abstract art form. All levels of artistic expertise/experience are welcome, ages 18 and up.
Classes will be held at the County Arts Lab, Unit 1G, at the Picton Armoury Building on Tuesdays from 10:15 AM-12:15 PM starting March 1 until April 5.
A sliding scale fee system is in place to ensure classes are as accessible as possible. For more information and to register, click here.
