Join Mile Murtanovski at the opening reception of his new art show and sale, Escape the Robots, on Friday, July 4th, 2025 from 6-9 PM at Blizzmax Gallery.

You’re invited to immerse yourself in the tangible beauty and heartfelt expression of original art in this upcoming exhibition featuring the ink, oil, and watercolour paintings by Mile. With over 35 years dedicated to his craft, Mile’s work embodies a depth of skill and a nuanced understanding of light, form, and emotion that can only be cultivated through years of human experience and passion.

In a world increasingly saturated with algorithmically generated images, this exhibition offers a vital connection to the authentic touch of the human hand and the unique vision of an individual artist. Each brushstroke on canvas and wash of colour on paper carries the imprint of Mile’s journey, his observations of the world, and his innermost feelings.

Come and witness the infinitely preferable experience of engaging with art born not from lines of code, but from a lifetime of dedication, intuition, and the profound connection between an artist and their medium. Discover pieces that resonate with your own human experience, offering a depth and soulfulness that no artificial creation can replicate.

“The human hand remains the ultimate instrument of artistic truth. Let us never forget it.” – from Mile’s pro-human-art manifesto (written by AI)

Featured will be paintings from Mile’s previous series, including 33 on 33, plein air paintings along Prince Edward County’s Highway 33, To the Sound of Trumpets, paintings commemorating the beginning of World War One, and a wide assortment of other paintings reaching back to the late 1900s!

All are encouraged to attend the opening reception to meet Mile in person and experience the art firsthand. Mile will also be present each day of the show.

Step away from the digital noise and embrace the genuine artistry that speaks to the heart.

Visit Fridays through Sundays, 11 AM to 7 PM, and escape the robots with some truly original and human art. On display until August 3rd, 2025.

3071 County Road 13, South Bay, Prince Edward County.
