Are you looking for some support and guidance to help you push your artistic career/practice to the next level? We have an absolutely amazing team of Mentors ready and willing to do just that! Artists in any discipline and at any career stage can apply to be Mentees in our first County Arts Mentorship Program. Successful applicants will receive 25 hours of mentorship from November-February and a $300 honorarium.
Applicants will indicate their preferred Mentors in the application form, and those preferred Mentors will review their respective candidates. An effort will be made to match each Mentor with one Mentee. However, to ensure maximum suitability and success, some Mentors may end up being matched with more than one Mentee, and some with none. Applicants’ age may also be taken into consideration; as the program is funded by the Government of Ontario through the Seniors’ Community Grant Program, 60% of total Mentor and Mentee spots will be reserved for artists aged 55+.
