Come celebrate the opening of a very special exhibition at Hatch Gallery, featuring the art and music of 4 incredibly talented Canadian musicians – Sarah Slean, Tom Wilson, Kevin Hearn and Kurt Swinghammer.
On Sunday August 6th at 2 PM, Both Sides Now will bring Hearn, Slean, Swinghammer and Wilson together at Hatch Gallery to perform a 60 minute musical showcase you won’t want to miss! This intimate event will mark the very first time these multi-award-winning artists have all performed together.
Entrance will be limited to 50 people and the artists have asked that you pay what you can (suggested $20) at the door as all proceeds will be donated to a local charity following the performance. Stanners Vineyard will also be on hand to offer samples of their award-winning wines, so plan on enjoying a most memorable afternoon in the gallery.
Sarah Slean is a 4-time JUNO, 2-time GEMINI nominated performer and a CSA winning composer with 25 years of broad experience in music.
Tom Wilson is veteran of the Canadian music scene and has been a writer and performer for many years, most recently touring with Blackie and The Rodeo Kings. Tom was appointed as a Companion of the Order of Canada back in June.
Kevin Hearn is a Canadian musician who is a member of Barenaked Ladies, and his own group, Kevin Hearn and Thin Buckle. He is also a member of Rheostatics.
Kurt Swinghammer is a Canadian singer-songwriter and visual artist based in Toronto. He has released 13 full-length albums of original songs. Kurt has also composed extensively for film and TV.
