Bold Vision
Shenandoah Sunrise by Dayna Law

The Parrott Gallery presents Bold Vision, a curated collection of colourful canvases to brighten your day and put a smile on your face by painter Dayna Law, OSA, CFS. All are invited to the Opening Reception on Saturday, July 26th, 2025 at 2:30 PM.

The exhibition is on display in Gallery 1 until August 30th, 2025.

Dayna Law studied art in secondary school and architecture at Toronto Metropolitan University, graduating with the highest overall mark for architectural design. While pursuing an architectural career, Dayna studied with prominent artists (Peter Kolisnyk, Don Lougheed, Pat Fairhead, Marilyn Crawford, Daphne Irving) in Ontario, Florida and PEI, developing technical skills and her own unique style. She has been a full-time artist for over 20 years with studios in Wellington, ON and Naples, FL, and she has held memberships in various art groups – 1963 to present in PEI, Ontario and Florida. She has also held executive positions – Prince Edward County Arts Council, Board; Art in the County, Chair; Arts on Main Gallery, Secretary and Board Member; each in Prince Edward County, Ontario.

Dayna has been a Prince Edward County Studio Tour member from 2010 to present, and her work has been shown in galleries, juried and invitational shows, with numerous awards, in Canada and USA. She was honoured to be elected into the Ontario Society of Artists in 2015, the Colour and Form Society in 2021 and was juried into the Government of Ontario Permanent Art Collection Archives in 2020

The Parrott Gallery is located at 254 Pinnacle Street, Belleville (3rd floor of the Belleville Public Library). Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM – 5 PM and Thursdays from 10 AM – 8 PM.
