Closing tomorrow July 2nd at 2PM, the 30th Annual Art in the County Juried Exhibition & Sale features 112 works by 86 artists hung in the beautiful newly renovated Lecture Hall at Base31. The show is also available to view online at www.artinthecounty.com. Works are available to purchase in person as well as online.
Sponsored this year by Base31 and and Elizabeth Crombie Real Estate Team, the 30th edition of Art in the County was celebrated with a new logo designed by Natalie Piper, as well as County Arts and Art in the County merch (including durable artist aprons and tote bags!), available for purchase at the show.
All of the art displayed was carefully chosen by three internationally-acclaimed artists – Textile Artist Chung-Im Kim, Ceramic Artist Lisa Creskey, and Indigenous Painter Rick Rivet who were solely responsible for the content of the show, and for selecting the five Jurors’ Choice Awards and five Honourable Mentions.
We at County Arts would like to extend congratulations to all artists juried into this year’s show, and a special congratulations to all the award winners, which are listed on Art in the County’s Winners Gallery page.
Art in the County is open 10 AM-9 PM on Saturday, July 1st, and 10 AM-2 PM on Sunday, July 2nd. Suggested donation of $5 or PWYC.
