Marion was an award-winning fibre artist and acrylic painter, using texture and colour to create uniquely stunning art scarves and other wearables, and hangable art, using handwoven and felted fabric. Marion’s exceptional, multifaceted talents garnered several awards, including an Art in the County Jurors’ Choice Award in 2019 for her work entitled “Throw County Sunrise”. Marion was also a long-time member of the PEC Studio Tour, first joining the event 18 years ago in 2004. It was always a joy to experience Marion’s work, one that we are sure is shared by many in the Prince Edward County community and beyond.
