About Daniel Vaughan

Daniel Vaughan is a professional photographer and has had a camera of one sort or another in his hands for over four decades, shooting corporate, travel, portrait, street and landscape subjects. He focuses on the intimate aspects of his subjects, capturing them in everyday settings and moods. “I have a diverse range of subjects and interests. I try to reflect the simple essence and beauty of a person, object or setting in nature or everyday life.”  He has a well-developed skill of seeing what the camera sees.

Daniel is also a professional graphic artist and website developer and uses his digital skills to incorporate his photography into his design work. Daniel is a principal at Vaughan Group that provides marketing and visual media services  for clients in Prince Edward County & Quinte Region:

Photography & Videography: Professional commercial, events, portrait, family & wedding photography; as well as video and drone photo productions.

Graphic Design/Website Development/ Marketing & Business Planning: Website design & development, logos, ads, print/collateral materials as well as marketing and music production services to pull it all together.

Daniel grew up in Nova Scotia before moving to Toronto. He and his wife Barbara moved to The County full time in 2011 and live on Muscote Bay, where they run their business, and in his spare time, Daniel also composes and records acoustic finger-style guitar music. Learn more about his recent music project “VaughanSong – Twelve Guitars, Nine Months and a Pair of Boots” at  He is currently working on a new album as well.
