We recognize how important it is for artists to connect to their peers, especially in a rural setting where the feeling of isolation can easily creep in. Here are a few ways for artists to connect.

Our Mentorship Program connects established County artist members to emerging artists, or to those new to the County. We have several volunteer artists from diverse practices. Let us know what your needs are and we’ll connect you.

The Arts Council is a proud partner of Creative Rural Minds, a quarterly meet-up open to everyone. Hear community members speak about creative initiatives, participate in networking activities, listen to local musicians, and more!

We also love what County Coworking is up to! They are opening a location in Picton by the end of 2019. We encourage artists to grab their laptops or sketchbooks, and go seek out some co-workers for the day!
