We are proud to produce some of the County’s longest-running events and programs that draw thousands of visitors to the region each year! Organized by staff and dedicated volunteers, these professional events and programs showcase artists from both the County and from across Ontario.

PEC Arts Trail

Established in 2008, the year-round Arts Trail connects art lovers, buyers and collectors with member artists, studios and galleries throughout Prince Edward County who create/curate and sell unforgettable works in sculpture, paintings, glass, ceramics, jewellery, photography, and more. Visitors are encouraged to visit the bilingual Arts Trail website, download the bilingual Arts Trail Guide and watch for the blue Arts Trail signs to plan their self-guided tour.

Art in the County

Established in 1993, Art in the County is a juried art exhibition and sale that has grown in scope and stature, showcasing the highest quality works of art by Prince Edward County artists and artisans. The show features over 100 works in a wide range of media, including watercolour, acrylic, oil, and encaustic paintings, sculpture, textiles, wood, photography, ceramics, glass, and more. At the County Arts Lab June 21 – July 7, 2024.

PEC Studio Tour

Established in 1993, the Prince Edward County Studio Tour is one of the longest running and most diverse studio tours in Ontario. Attracting over 5,000 visitors in three days, the 2024 edition will feature 55 artists at 38 studio locations. From September 20-22, 2024 meet the talented artists, watch demonstrations and find that perfect piece for your home. Map your own tour for this free event by picking up the colourful 28 page brochure at over 200 businesses throughout the County.

The Maker’s Hand

Established in 2004, The Maker’s Hand is a fine craft exhibition and sale featuring work by both established and up-and-coming artisans from across Ontario & Quebec. The show takes place at Highline Hall, Lehigh Arena in Wellington November 8 – 10, 2024.
